OUR PROSPECTS

We are very excited to get this filly, with her balance, conformation, quality and structure (not to mention color). She will remain here for our mare band. She has been started somewhat under saddle and is docile and easy to handle in every way. She takes after her sire and dam, both using horses, and pedigree filled with performance champions and producers. When she matures and fills out next year she will really stand out and make an impact at our farm with plans to breed her for future foals with the dun gene and her quaility. We plan on breeding her to a stallion to be disclosed in 2009. We will be testing her for the black gene to see if she is homo black and post when we get the results. WE would love to show her some in halter next year if she comes around, and gains the weight she needs to have, at the ABRA shows in the color class, due to her loud dun color pattern, and silver color in the summer..one picture shows her dark winter hair coming on the other is her last summer bleached out. We will see how she gains weight and condition and comes around over the winter with some TLC. Pictures are her condition on arrival 11/15/08. WE hope to get a true color reading next spring AFTER SHEDDING and new pictures then and hope to determine if she is a silver grulla or not. She stands 14.2 hands now but her rear is up 14.3 hands. She may finish out 14.3 to 15 hands, if she does grow more. Sire is 15.2 and dam is 14.2.
